Blood Pressure Management - High blood pressure is a risk factor for coronary artery disease, heart failure, stroke, renal disease and diabetes. Attend a one-day seminar to discuss lifestyle changes in controlling blood pressure.


Monday, August 16th
6:00 - 7:00 pm

Cholesterol Management - A one-day discussion about simple steps to help improve cholesterol and reduce the risk or progression of heart disease. A heart healthy and tasty cooking demonstration will conclude the class!

Curso de Manejo Del Diabetes - Aprenda como usted puede jugar un papel principal en el control de su diabetes. Los temas incluyen: la dieta diabetica, la importancia del ejercicio, el auto-reviso de su glucosa en casa, el manejo del estres, leyendo la etiquetas nutricionales, y mucho mas.

Diabetes: Beyond the Basics - A class designed for individuals with a basic understanding of diabetic meal planning. Topics to be discussed include carbohydrate counting, label reading and restaurant dining.

Diabetes Management - A four-session class developed to teach diabetic patients and their families the causes, treatment and management of the disease. Topics include the diabetic diet, exercise, stress management and blood glucose monitoring.


Saturday, August 21st and 28th

Fit Kids - Fit Kids is a two-session, family based pediatric weight management and healthy living program (ages 6 - 14) focusing on nutrition, exercise, family communication and self esteem.


Monday, September 27th
6:00 pm

"Laugh Away Your Stress" - A class designed for individuals experiencing stress overload symptoms. Learn fun and healthy ways to cope.

"Weighing Your Options" - A six-session adult weight management and healthy living program. Topics include nutrition, exercise, reading food labels, healthy food choices, emotional eating, eating out, and modifying recipes.
